Over the past few months we have adapted our safety regulations and sanitization processes to meet CDC guidelines. Our team recognizes how important working out is in regard to your immune system, and we are striving to ensure that the Sportsbarn is a place you can continue to turn to during this challenging time.
Cleanliness has always been one of our top priorities at Sportsbarn. Earlier this year, we revised our cleaning protocols to match CDC regulations.
We have hired additional staff who are sanitizing the equipment regularly and often.
After classes, each space is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Electrostatic Sprayers are used twice a day. Find out more about what these are and how they work here.)
Locker rooms surfaces, lockers, and bathrooms are cleaned regularly and vigorously.
The disinfectant we use (Maxim Ready-to-use Neutral Disinfectant) is approved by the EPA for use against COVID-19 and proven to kill 99.99% of bacteria, viruses and fungi on equipment.
All staff are required to have their temperatures taken upon arrival for their shift.
Cardio equipment and weight machines have been spaced for appropriate social distancing.
We have added hand sanitizing stations throughout our facilities for your use and encourage you to use it upon arrival, as well as frequently during your visit. (Our hand sanitizer, kills 99.99% of germs and contains 62% ethyl alcohol which exceeds the CDC’s guidelines of 60%.)
We continue to require that members wipe down and clean machines both before and after use.
New water fountains have been installed which allow you to fill a water bottle.
Sportsbarn members only are allowed, no guests until further notice.
Our classes are limited to allow for social distancing.
Handball and racquetball courts are open at all three clubs, but for singles play only.
Per the Hamilton County Mandate, masks are required in public through March 31, 2021. What does that mean for you as a Sportsbarn member?
Masks must be worn when entering and exiting the club, as well as in all common areas, such as the lobby, table areas, locker rooms, fitness floor, etc.
Please remember to bring your own mask. If you do not have one, one will be provided to you.
While masks are not required while exercising, swimming or showering, all social distancing rules still apply.
Please be sure to keep a mask with you at all times and easily accessible for when you are moving around in the common areas.
Sportsbarn staff and trainers will be wearing masks, except when teaching.
Children until 12 are not required to wear masks, but childcare staff will be wearing masks during Kids Corner hours.
We are taking appropriate measures to ensure best practices for childcare. North and East Kids Corners are open with the below precautions. Due to limited space, our Downtown childcare center will remain closed until further notice.
Parents and children are required to have their temperatures taken before entering Kids Corner
Hand sanitizer use is required upon entry to Kids Corner as well.
No outside toys are allowed for the time being.
No food will be permitted, just bottled, labeled water or drinks that can be sealed tightly.
